August 12, 2018 - Vandenbergh Visits Fairbury American Legion Speedway for Prairie Dirt Classic
On Friday night Kolby Vandenbergh traveled to Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Illinois) for the MARS Racing Series sanctioned contest. Drawing 29 Super Late Models for the Russ Wallace Memorial, Kolby came up one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a 6th place finish. Needing a 4th place finish or better in his B-Main to make the opening night feature, Vandenbergh captured a 10-lap consolation victory positioning him 16th on the starting grid for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. The following night at Fairbury American Legion Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois) for the FALS Frenzy, Kolby locked his spot into the main event with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Ryan Unzicker. With $10,000 on the line, Kolby Vandenbergh posted a 15th place outing in the 50-lap affair.

On Sunday night Vandenbergh stopped at Jacksonville Speedway (Jacksonville, Illinois) for the rescheduled DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour event. With 17 cars on hand for the Kelly Wildman Classic, Kolby locked his spot into the $5,000-to-win via preliminary events but was a scratch from the 40-lapper.

July 28, 2018 - Vandenbergh Visits Fairbury American Legion Speedway for Prairie Dirt Classic
Kolby Vandenbergh invaded Fairbury American Legion Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois) on Friday night for the 29th annual Prairie Dirt Classic. With a stout field of 61 World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series entries on hand for four rounds of preliminary features, Vandenbergh timed in 24th fastest in his qualifying group earning him the 12th-starting position for the show. Locking the Top 4 into the main event on Saturday night, Kolby held his spot for all 25-laps to place 12th.

Returning on Saturday night, Kolby gained four spots in his 15-lap consolation event logging a 6th place finish. Transferring into the Prairie Dirt Shootout for one final shot at the $30,000-to-win finale, Vandenbergh recorded a 6th place finish in the 25-lap affair bringing an early end to his weekend.

July 13, 2018 - Kolby Vandenbergh Places 16th in NAPA Know How 50 at Tri-City Speedway
Friday night saw Kolby Vandenbergh in action at Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Illinois) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned NAPA Know How 50. In a field of 26 cars, Kolby recorded a 7th place finish in his heat race earning him the 19th-starting position for the $12,000-to-win A-Main. Gaining three spots in the 50-lap affair, Vandenbergh registered a 16th place outing.

July 7, 2018 - Vandenbergh Bags Top 5 Finish at Tri-City Speedway
On Friday evening Kolby Vandenbergh visited Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Illinois) for the regular night of racing. After holding his spot in his heat race to place 3rd, Kolby jumped up one position in the feature to place 5th behind Matt Santel, Billy Laycock, Derek Fetter, and Scott Henseler.

The following night at Lake Ozark Speedway (Eldon, Missouri) for the Lucas Oil Late Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) sanctioned contest, Kolby locked his spot into the $5,000-to-win A-Main with a 4th place finish in his heat. June 30, 2018 - Top 10 Finish in Hell Tour Action at Spoon River Speedway
Kolby Vandenbergh returned with the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour on Monday night at Spoon River Speedway (Canton, Illinois). With 23 Super Late Models registered in for action, Vandenbergh recorded the third fastest time in his qualifying group before jumping up one spot in his heat race to place 2nd behind Tyler Erb. Hanging on to a Top-10 finish in the feature, Kolby dropped four spots in the 40-lap affair registering a 9th place finish.

After losing Tuesday’s event at Charleston Speedway (Charleston, Illinois) to bad weather, Kolby followed the Hell Tour to La Salle Speedway (LaSalle, Illinois) on Thursday for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. In a field of 34 cars, Kolby edged his way into the show with the 4th and final transfer spot in his heat race. Starting in 13th, Vandenbergh held his spot for all 41-laps notching a 13th place outing.

On Saturday night Vandenbergh returned with the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour for the $10,000 top prize at Federated Raceway at I-55 (Pevely, Missouri). Drawing 33 cars for the 11th stop of the tour, Kolby recorded a 7th place finish in his heat giving him one more shot at the $10,000-to-win A-Main with a B-Main appearance. Needing to place in the Top-2, Vandenbergh fell short with a 7th place finish.

June 23, 2018 - Vandenbergh Attends Hell Tour to Tri-City and FALS
Making his first start with the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour, Kolby Vandenbergh invaded Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Illinois) on Friday night for the $10,000 top prize. In a field of 35 Super Late Models, Kolby fell one spot short of a transfer spot into the feature with a 5th place finish in his heat. Slated to roll off 4th in his B-Main for another shot at the feature, Kolby was a scratch from the 12-lap consolation event.

The following night at Fairbury American Legion Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois), Kolby posted a 5th place finish in his heat race giving him one final shot at the main event with a B-Main apperance. Needing to place in the Top 2, Vandenbergh came up one spot short with a 3rd place finish.

June 8, 2018 - Runner-up Finish in Local Show at Tri-City Speedway
Friday night found Kolby Vandenbergh in action at Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Illinois) competing in a field of 12 Super Late Models. Following the second fastest time in his qualifying group, Vandenbergh gained one spot in his heat to pick up the win. Rolling off 2nd for the feature, Kolby held his spot for the entire to distance notching a 2nd place finish behind Daryn Klein with Michael Kloos, Gordy Gundaker, and Rickey Frankel completing the Top-5 finishers.

June 2, 2018 - Top 10 Finish With MARS Racing Series at Tri-City Speedway
Following the MARS Racing Series, Kolby Vandenbergh visited Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Illinois) on Friday night for the $3,000 top prize. On Saturday night at Fayette County Speedway (Brownstown, Illinois), Kolby locked his spot into the show with a runner-up finish in his heat behind Shannon Babb. Coming short of a Top-10 finish, Vandenbergh slipped back to a 14th place outing in the 40-lap affair.

May 26, 2018 - Kobly Vandenbergh Begins Show-Me 100 Weekend at Lucas Oil Speedway
Thursday night brought Kolby Vandenbergh to Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned weekend. Drawing 65 Super Late Models for the Cowboy Classic, Vandenbergh improved three spots in his 10-lap heat race to place 6th. Needing a 2nd place finish or better to make the opening night feature, Kolby fell short with a 9th place outing.

The following night for the Tribute to Don & Billie Gibson, Kolby dropped four positions in his heat race logging a 7th place outing. Transferring the Top 2 out of the B-Main and into the final $6,000-to-win preliminary feature, Vandenbergh posted an 8th place finish ending his night early.

Wrapping up the Show-Me 100 weekend on Saturday, Kolby was slated to roll off 9th in his B-Main for one last shot at the $30,000-to-win finale. Failing to place in the Top 2, Vandenbergh earned a spot in the Midwest Sheet Metal Show-Me Challenge. Starting in 18th, Kolby Vandenbergh passed nine cars in the 20-lapper reeling in a 9th place finish.

May 12, 2018 - Vandenbergh Visits Farmer City Raceway for Farmer City 74; Top 10 Finish at I-55
Kolby Vandenbergh traveled to Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Illinois) on Friday evening for the MARS Racing Series sanctioned Farmer City 74. With 35 Super Late Models registered in for action, Vandenbergh recorded a 6th place finish in his heat race transferring him into the B-Main for another shot at the $10,000-to-win A-Main. Sending the Top 2 into the show, Kolby came up one spot short with a 3rd place outing.

On Saturday evening after Mother Nature wiped out the FALZ Frenzy at Fairbury American Legion Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois), Kolby stopped at Federated Auto Park Raceway at I-55 (Pevely, Missouri) for the regular night of racing. Jumping up one spot in his heat race, Vandenbergh scored a 4th place finish positioning him 7th on the starting grid for the feature. Coming one spot shy a Top-5 finish, Kolby Vandenbergh passed one car to place 6th.

April 28, 2018 - Kolby Vandenbergh Competes With Lucas Oil Series at Tri-City and Macon
On Friday night Kolby Vandenbergh invaded Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Illinois) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned Busch 50. Drawing 34 Super Late Models, Vandenbergh came up one spot short of a transfer position in his heat race with a 5th place finish. Transferring into the B-Main, Kolby streaked to 12-lap consolation victory positioning him 18th on the starting grid for the feature. Losing three spots in the 50-lap affair, Kolby Vandenbergh posted a 21st place outing.

April 21, 2018 - Vandenbergh Attends MLRA Weekend in the Hawkeye State
After a handful of rainouts, Kolby Vandenbergh returned to action on Friday night at Davenport Raceway (Davenport, Iowa) for the Lucas Oil Late Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) sanctioned program. In a field of 35 cars, Kolby came up two spots short of a transfer position in his heat with a 7th place outing. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature, Vandenbergh logged at 7th place outing.

The following night at 34 Raceway (Burlington, Iowa) for the 10th annual Slocum 50, Kolby posted a 6th place finish in his heat giving him one final shot at the feature with a B-Main appearance. Sending the Top-3 into the show, Vandenbergh landed a 3rd place spot locking his spot into the finale. With $10,555 on the line, Kolby Vandenbergh registered a 26th place outing in the 50-lap affair.

January 14, 2018 - Kolby Vandenbergh Begins 2018 Season at Wild West Shootout
Kicking off the 2018 season, Kolby Vandenbergh made the 24-hour trip to FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway (Queen Creek, Arizona) on Wednesday night for the 12th annual Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout. With 45 Super Late Models on hand for the third round of the tour, Vandenbergh recorded the ninth fastest time in his qualifying group before placing 12th in his heat race. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the $5,000-to-win A-Main, Kolby came up three spots short of a transfer position with ta 7th place outing.

After having a scheduled off day on Thursday, Kolby returned to action on Friday competing in a field of 46 Super Late Models. Following the fourth fastest time in his qualifying group, Vandenbergh logged a 6th place finish in his heat sending him into the B-Main. Needing to place in the Top 4 to make the show, Kolby landed a 4th place finish positioning him 23rd on the starting grid for the A-Main. With $5,000 on the line, Vandenbergh gained two spots in the 40-lap affair registering a 21st place finish.

On Saturday night, Vandenbergh fell one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a 5th place finish. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the feature, Kolby slipped back to a 10th place outing ending his night early.

December 27, 2017 - Kolby Vandenbergh Launches New Website
Ashland, Illinois' racer Kolby Vandenbergh is the latest addition to the MSRmafia Team and has launched a brand-new website at www.Kolby15.com.

The 20-year-old driver has been racing for 11 years. He's enjoyed success in everything from Quarter Midgets to Crate Late Models to Super Late Models. (Heath Lawson pic)

Kolby currently pilots the Vandenbergh Concrete & Excavating #15 Longhorn Chassis/ Pro Power Racing Engine Super Late Model. He's preparing for a big 2018 season, which will see him entering an array of national events as well as a host of regional specials.
