January 13, 2018 - Vandenbergh Falls One Spot Short of Transferring in Night Two of WWS
On Wednesday night Kolby Vandenbergh returned to FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway (Queen Creek, Arizona) for the second round of the Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout. In a field of 45 cars, Vandenbergh held his spot for all 10-laps in his heat race to place 7th. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the $5,000-to-win A-Main, Kolby came up one spot short of a transfer position with a 5th place finish.

After a scheduled off night on Thursday, Vandenbergh laid down the ninth fastest time in his qualifying group on Sunday before logging a 7th place finish in his heat. Needing a 4th place finish or better in his B-Main to make the show, Kolby logged a 5th place finish.

Returning on Saturday for the two-day show, Kolby fell one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a 5th place finish. Sending the Top 4 into the $5,000-to-win A-Main, Vandenbergh posted a 6th place outing bringing an early end to his night.

Later Saturday night, Vandenbergh followed up the sixth fastest time in his qualifying group with a 6th place finish in his heat. Rolling off 6th in his B-Main for another shot at the main event, Kolby came two spots short with a 6th place outing.

Wrapping up the 13th annual Wild West Shootout on Sunday, Vandenbergh was able to record a time in qualifying but failed to make it out for both his heat and B-Main.

January 5, 2018 - Kolby Vandenbergh Begins Wild West Shootout in Arizona
Kicking off the 2019 season, Kolby Vandenbergh made the trek to FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway (Queen Creek, Arizona) on Saturday night for the 13th annual Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout. With 45 Super Late Models registered in for action, Vandenbergh recorded the ninth fastest time in his qualifying group but failed to make it out for his heat race. Needing a 4th place finish or better in his B-Main to make the opening night feature, Kolby gained six positions but fell five spots short of a transfer position.

Sunday night's program was postponed by Mother Nature to January 12th.

September 2, 2018 - Runner-up Finish With Midwest Big 10 Series at Spoon River Speedway
Sunday night found Kolby Vandenbergh in action at Spoon River Speedway (Canton, Illinois) for the Midwest Big 10 Series sanctioned contest. Following the fastest time overall in a field of 24 cars, Vandenbergh cruised to a heat race victory positioning him on the pole for the $1,200-to-win A-Main. After jumping out to an early lead, Kolby lost the top spot to Jason Feger on lap-6. Holding his position for the remaining 19 circuits, Kolby Vandenbergh notched a runner-up finish behind Feger with Wes Steidinger, Lyle Zanker, and Matt Shannon rounding out the Top-5. August 12, 2018 - Vandenbergh Visits Fairbury American Legion Speedway for Prairie Dirt Classic
On Friday night Kolby Vandenbergh traveled to Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Illinois) for the MARS Racing Series sanctioned contest. Drawing 29 Super Late Models for the Russ Wallace Memorial, Kolby came up one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a 6th place finish. Needing a 4th place finish or better in his B-Main to make the opening night feature, Vandenbergh captured a 10-lap consolation victory positioning him 16th on the starting grid for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. The following night at Fairbury American Legion Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois) for the FALS Frenzy, Kolby locked his spot into the main event with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Ryan Unzicker. With $10,000 on the line, Kolby Vandenbergh posted a 15th place outing in the 50-lap affair.

On Sunday night Vandenbergh stopped at Jacksonville Speedway (Jacksonville, Illinois) for the rescheduled DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour event. With 17 cars on hand for the Kelly Wildman Classic, Kolby locked his spot into the $5,000-to-win via preliminary events but was a scratch from the 40-lapper.

July 28, 2018 - Vandenbergh Visits Fairbury American Legion Speedway for Prairie Dirt Classic
Kolby Vandenbergh invaded Fairbury American Legion Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois) on Friday night for the 29th annual Prairie Dirt Classic. With a stout field of 61 World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series entries on hand for four rounds of preliminary features, Vandenbergh timed in 24th fastest in his qualifying group earning him the 12th-starting position for the show. Locking the Top 4 into the main event on Saturday night, Kolby held his spot for all 25-laps to place 12th.

Returning on Saturday night, Kolby gained four spots in his 15-lap consolation event logging a 6th place finish. Transferring into the Prairie Dirt Shootout for one final shot at the $30,000-to-win finale, Vandenbergh recorded a 6th place finish in the 25-lap affair bringing an early end to his weekend.

July 13, 2018 - Kolby Vandenbergh Places 16th in NAPA Know How 50 at Tri-City Speedway
Friday night saw Kolby Vandenbergh in action at Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Illinois) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned NAPA Know How 50. In a field of 26 cars, Kolby recorded a 7th place finish in his heat race earning him the 19th-starting position for the $12,000-to-win A-Main. Gaining three spots in the 50-lap affair, Vandenbergh registered a 16th place outing.

July 7, 2018 - Vandenbergh Bags Top 5 Finish at Tri-City Speedway
On Friday evening Kolby Vandenbergh visited Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Illinois) for the regular night of racing. After holding his spot in his heat race to place 3rd, Kolby jumped up one position in the feature to place 5th behind Matt Santel, Billy Laycock, Derek Fetter, and Scott Henseler.

The following night at Lake Ozark Speedway (Eldon, Missouri) for the Lucas Oil Late Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) sanctioned contest, Kolby locked his spot into the $5,000-to-win A-Main with a 4th place finish in his heat.
